AmCham will be hosting our famous Meet & Mingle Networking Night on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 6-8pm at Rosewood Phnom Penh but this time, we will be saying goodbye to our Executive Director, Mr. Travis Mitchell, who has been with AmCham Cambodia for the past four years. He will be relocating to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to serve as the new Executive Director of AmCham Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
While we are sad to see him go, we are excited to support him on his new journey. So come enjoy whiskey, wine, beer, soft drinks, and delicious canapes and say goodbye to Travis. It will be a festive occasion, not a sad farewell!

Dear beloved members & friends,
It is with great sadness to inform you that I will be leaving the American Chamber of Commerce after serving as the Executive Director for the past four years. After more than 11 years in Cambodia, I will be relocating to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to serve as the new Executive Director of AmCham Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Thus, I will remain connected to AmCham and I look forward to continue working with all of you, albeit in a different capacity.
Working with our members and friends has been an absolute privilege of a lifetime, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from so many interesting and colorful people from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds.
With your help, AmCham has grown tremendously, and we have worked hard to support the American business community here. We navigated through the challenging times of Covid, where we strived to pass along breaking information from the government. We doubled our membership, who have joined our committees and have created dynamic, topical events. We advocated with Congress for the renewal of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), and we strengthened our partnerships with the Royal Government of Cambodia, the other Chambers of Commerce, the US Embassy Phnom Penh, and many others. We have been busy, but it has been worth it.
My team and I have always tried to ensure that AmCham be helpful, active, and friendly, and while we may not be perfect, I hope you always have felt welcomed and encouraged to share your thoughts on how we can improve the business environment in this wonderful country. So, I would like to say THANK YOU for the past four years.
