Last month, AmCham Cambodia participated in the AmCham's of Asia Pacific (AAP) Advocacy Doorknock where we met with key leaders in the government, private sector, and think tank world in Washington to inform them of what's happening on the ground in Asia-Pacific.

At one meeting, we heard from Jonathan Martin, National Political Reporter for the New York Times and co-author of the best-selling "This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America's Future".

As a follow-on to his in-person meeting with the AAP DC delegation, AAP will virtually host Jonathan where he will discuss the current state of play in Washington and the coming midterm elections. While a lot of people are unhappy with the Biden Administration, there is no widespread support for a "Trumpist Party," either. As such, a political realignment is taking place in American politics.
