Research has shown that firms with more women in senior positions are more profitable, more socially responsible, and provide safer, higher-quality customer experiences — among many other benefits. However, in Cambodia, only 36% of women serve in the management team in the public and private sector.

In the last few years, government and private sector actors have focused on bringing more women into the formal workforce across all sectors, but there is much more to be done, especially when it comes to female representation in the senior ranks.
