AmCham Cambodia​ and Hyatt Regency​ Phnom Penh are excited to announce that we are partnering again for the 2nd annual "Let's Give Back!" charity networking evening which will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 6-8 pm.

This year, we are collaborating with Mercy Medical Center to raise money to cover cervical cancer screening and tests for garment factory workers, as part of a larger goal to reach all 500,000 women working in the garment industry of Cambodia through a mobile testing program that is starting in November 2022.

Cervical cancer is the #4 cancer for women worldwide, and #1 in Cambodia. It is 99% preventable but leads to over 1,000 deaths per year in Cambodia. The World Health Organization and the Cambodian Ministry of Health have designated cervical cancer as the number one priority for prevention, with a goal of eliminating cervical cancer deaths by 2030. One cervical cancer test takes 5-15 minutes and costs only $15/per person. All our proceeds from this event will go towards screening as many women as possible.
